We received an incomplete rough-cut from an unfinished ASN Bank commercial. The task: rebuild the missing parts end-to-end and deliver a complete 1 minute 30 seconds spot, plus a vertical Instagram Story aligned with the brand’s values and corporate identity that talks about battery recycling,
My Role?
Research, brand analysis, storyboarding, shot planning, filming, editorial, motion/typography, sound design, and color grading.
Approach & Process
- Brand Immersion: Translated core values (sustainability, clarity, accessibility) into narrative, pacing, color temperature, and type hierarchy.
- Storyboarding & Shot List: Reconstructed the narrative arc with a twist.
- Production: Matched lighting ratios, white balance, and camera profiles as much as possible.
- Type & Motion: Designed brand-consistent text animations with a font as close as possible as the real commercial.
- Social Adaptation (9:16): New storyboard, reframed for vertical, tightened to 10s, optimized legibility for mobile.
