vndreiii ("we", "this site") is a personal portfolio. This policy explains, in plain language, what happens to your data when you visit.
Short version: this site offers optional, privacy-focused Google Analytics. Analytics is off by default until you choose “Allow analytics”; declining leaves it off. The site does not use advertising trackers, accounts or forms.

What data is processed
When you load a page, our hosting provider automatically records standard server log data for security and operational purposes: IP address, browser/device type, requested URL, referring page, and timestamp. This happens for every website on the internet — it is not something this site adds on top.
If you allow analytics, Google Analytics 4 receives pseudonymous usage information such as pages viewed, approximate device/browser information and interactions. The site configures IP anonymisation and does not use advertising features. Your choice is stored locally so the banner does not return.
Media and assets
Images, video and other project media on this site are served either directly from this domain or from vndreiii's own infrastructure. No third-party media host is used that would set its own cookies or trackers.
Legal basis
Processing of basic server logs is based on our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure, diagnosing issues, and preventing abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Retention
Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and operational purposes, and are then deleted or anonymised, in line with our hosting provider's standard retention period.
Your rights
Because this site processes so little personal data, most requests will simply confirm that we hold nothing beyond standard logs. You still have rights under GDPR — see the GDPR & Data Rights page for the full list and how to exercise them.
Changes to this policy
If the analytics setup changes, this page will be updated first, and the change will be reflected in the date below.
